The Homestead Bay Front Yacht Club was formed in 1986. It primarily consisted of local Homestead Boaters, who kept their vessels at Homestead Bay Front Park Marina. We now have members from all over Dade, Broward, and Monroe counties. Homestead Bay Front Yacht Club is a State of Florida Non Profit Corporation.
Our purpose of existence is simple: A group of people, who
share a common interest in boating. Although to join our club you do not need to
own a boat, to take full advantage of all of our events though out the year, a
boat is very useful.
Dues:
Our annual dues, payable in December, are $ 80.00 per year. Please contact our
Membership Chairman for details.
Meetings: Are held at the Capri Restaurant 935 N Krome Ave Florida City, Florida in the "Wine Room", on the first Monday evening of every month. Meetings start with Dinner at 7:00 pm. The current cost is $20.00 per person. If you make a reservation to come to our Dinner Meeting and become a "no show ", you will be charged, as in all events anyway.
Events: We try to have one Boating Event each month. These can consist of, but not limited to Raft Ups, Trips to Marinas in other areas, Boat Parades, Dock Parties, and cruises to the Bahamas.
